General Terms and Conditions

On your day of arrival, reserved rooms will be available from 15:00 onward.  If you have not arrived by 18:00, we reserve the right to assign the room to other guests, so please tell us in advance if you will be arriving later than 18:00.

On your day of departure, we ask that you vacate the room by 11:00, or tell us of your need to stay later by 22:00 on the evening before. For departures up until 18:00, half the room price is due, for departures after 18:00 the full room price is due.

Package services booked but not used cannot be refunded. Any cancellations must be in written form, confirmed by us. Should we be able to sublet the room, you will of course not incur any accommodation costs.

Animals may only be brought along with the prior consent of the Hotel Moselschlösschen and against payment of a surcharge. Animals are not allowed in public areas, especially in the restaurant "Zum Schlösschen".

cancellations

Cancellation of a reservation is subject to the following conditions:

If a date for withdrawal from the contract has been agreed to in writing between the hotel and the customer, the customer may cancel the reservation up until that date without incurring any charges or damages. The customer's right of withdrawal shall lapse if he does not exercise his right of withdrawal in writing vis-à-vis the hotel by the agreed date.

In the case of package reservations, cancellations up to the 2nd day before arrival are possible free of charge. For cancellations after the 2nd day before arrival, or in case the guest does not arrive at all, the price for the first overnight stay is due. Exceptions are high season weeks (April-October), especially weekends or times when major events take place in the region. During these times a cancellation is only free up to 30 days before arrival, otherwise the Hotel Moselschlösschen will charge 80% of the accommodation price for the booked period.

Accommodations and events for groups of 10 persons or more (group packages): Cancellation is free of charge if made up to four weeks prior to arrival or the beginning date of the event. If the cancellation is made up to the 20th day before, 20% of the accommodation or package price will be charged. In case of cancellation up to the 10th day before the beginning date, 80% of the package price will be charged. In case of cancellation up to 3 days before the beginning date, 90% of the package price will be charged.
