Silence during Advent – Yoga and Metta Retreat with Aerial Yoga

With Stefanie Baltz

December 6–8, 2026

The Advent season invites us to pause, let go, and reconnect with ourselves. Leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind and treat yourself to three days filled with peace, movement, and warmth—a mindful retreat for body, mind, and soul.

Each day begins with a short morning meditation that gently guides you from sleep into mindfulness and connection with your heart. This is followed by a flowing yoga session that stretches the body, revitalizes the spine, and releases tension. Playful aerial yoga sessions let you experience weightlessness as movement brings lightness, tension melts away, and inner joy awakens.

Guided metta meditations open your heart to compassion—for yourself and others—and offer moments of deep clarity and warmth. Between sessions, you’ll have time to enjoy the winter scenery of the Moselle Valley on walks, retreat to quiet areas, or simply savor the moment and the peace.

In the evenings, you’ll experience deep relaxation in gentle Yin Yoga sessions—including those using slings. Nestled in the atmospheric ambiance of the Moselschlösschen, pampered by fine cuisine and wellness offerings, a space emerges where you can recharge, let go, and find yourself.

Treat yourself to this Advent season—to arrive, recharge, feel a sense of lightness, and find peace within your own heart.

Stefanie Baltz

Stefanie Baltz is a passionate yoga and meditation teacher with a deep grounding in Hatha yoga and Theravada Buddhism. She completed an intensive three-and-a-half-year Hatha yoga teacher training course with a focus on Ashtanga yoga in Cologne and has also undertaken further training in areas such as Yin yoga, aerial yoga and acrobatic yoga. For around 20 years, she has been teaching yoga in a practical and joyful manner, combining body awareness, breath and mindful movement into a harmonious, holistic practice.

In addition, Stefanie was trained in the practice of Metta meditation by Marie Mannschatz over many years. Building on this foundation, she now independently leads yoga and Metta meditation retreats at various meditation centres across Germany. In her teaching, she integrates playful and flowing elements, gentle stretching, and mindful meditation and breathing exercises, so that body, mind and heart are engaged in a variety of ways.

Originally trained in body-oriented psychotherapy, Stefanie brings with her many years of experience in supporting people – today, this forms the cornerstone of her work as a yoga and meditation teacher. She lives in the Hunsrück, is the mother of three adult children and a co-founder of Samari Yoga. For many years, she has been organising retreats in special locations – on sailing ships, in the desert and in peaceful retreats – always with the aim of creating spaces for relaxation, mindfulness and inner clarity.
